Welcome to the home of Rugby League in Ghana. Here you will find all information related to Rugby League and the development of the game across Ghana. Rugby League has been growing in the nation for near on a decade, alongside the game's rich HISTORY, Rugby League has been heavily supported by the Rugby League European Federation and International Rugby League bodies. Governed by the Rugby League Federation Ghana (RLFG) we look after all aspects of the game across the country and it's positive progression to date.
Hanetf are our long standing supporters through Hector and Sara Giwa-McNeil. Not only are Hanetf the proud sponors of our National Team (the Leopards) but the resource given to the game by Hector and Sara has been contributing to the development of the sport in the nation for over 10 years.
Rugby League is seperate from Rugby Union, with the game's HISTORY dating back to 1895. The full version of the game is played at 13 A Side, although in Ghana we also provide opportunities for 9 A Side (Contact), Touch and Tag Rugby League. Our programmes can be found below.
